General Membership Meetings are held either In-Person or via Zoom on the fourth Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (EST). Members receive organizational updates, review committee work, discuss community initiatives, and hear from guest speakers when scheduled. Ms. Linda Thornton Thomas, SCEDA Legislative Affairs Committee Chair will host our guests who represent Maryland District 26 in the Maryland General Assembly, Honorable State Senator C. Anthony Muse, Honorable Delegate Veronica Turner, Honorable Delegate Kris Valderrama, and Honorable Delegate Jamila Woods who will provide a review of their legislative actions, either State or House Bills introduced/enacted or failed to pass during the just completed 2026 Maryland General Assembly Session.
